Interpretation of Revelation 10

It is almost useless reading this if you haven't gone through THE TRUE STORY OF LIFE BASED ON REASONING first because all symbols used in the book of revelation are interpreted in the story. things like: 7, double sides/two edges, lamb, beast, dragon, sea, earth, 7 heads, 10 horns, sun, moon, star, Micheal etc. you wouldn't expect me to start afresh. I am going straight to the point now.

After the death of the Christ, he sent his holy spirit to impact knowledgeable about the truth because the great enemy has finally been defeated and the enemy's secrecy defied! the book of revelation is trying to tell us whom this enemy is, the enemy's secrecy, the defiance of this secrecy, the freedom achieved for mankind as a result of the defiance of this secrecy, how the enemy was defeated, the people that fought to defeat this enemy and the fate of the enemy after her defeat.

The Angel and the Little Scroll

1 Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven. He was robed in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head; his face was like the sun, and his legs were like fiery pillars.

2 He was holding a little scroll, which lay open in his hand. He planted his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land,

3 and he gave a loud shout like the roar of a lion. When he shouted, the voices of the seven thunders spoke.

4 And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven say, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said and do not write it down.”

5 Then the angel I had seen standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven.

6 And he swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it, and said, “There will be no more delay!

7 But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.”

8 Then the voice that I had heard from heaven spoke to me once more: “Go, take the scroll that lies open in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.”

9 So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll. He said to me, “Take it and eat it. It will turn your stomach sour, but ‘in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.’ ”

10 I took the little scroll from the angel’s hand and ate it. It tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it, my stomach turned sour.

11 Then I was told, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages and kings.”

Interpretation

“The little” talks about a little secrete attached to the ‘main  scroll’ of “death” “torment” “Hades” “fire” (the scroll sealed with 7 seals) etc. “the little scroll” is used figuratively. The truth is that it is not any little secrete, rather it is the great secrecy that was defied and broken. It is the main reason I am here.

1 “Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven. He was robed in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head; his face was like the sun, and his legs were like fiery pillars.”

“Mighty angel”  talks about my ability, that very ability that came as a result of the grace that came down from heaven, that mighty ability that help me go through that great sacrifice (the lamb)

“another mighty angel” talks about another exploit of my own ability

“cloud” means secret

“robed in a cloud” means the ability has a secret.

“rainbow” as it is used here talks about “the unity of the seven and their achievement”

“Rainbow above his head” says this very secret was spotted as a result of the victory achieved for me by the seven. It shows the sign of covenant, the sign of agreement, or a sign of unity that shows the “overcoming” or resolution of something that had been a problem to me. This says that the unveiling of this secret comes in the name of the total defeat of the enemy.

“like the sun” as it is used here means “open/reveal”

“pillars”  as it is used here means “root/foundation”

“fiery” means determination/zeal/guts

“his face was like the sun, and his legs were like fiery pillars.” Says my ability which is rooted on determination is set to reveal a little secret to me.

2 “He was holding a little scroll, which lay open in his hand. He planted his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land,”

This is saying that the little secret has everything to do with the human and spirit (visible and invisible/living and the dead/physical and beyond)

3 “and he gave a loud shout like the roar of a lion. When he shouted, the voices of the seven thunders spoke. 4 And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven say, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said and do not write it down.”

These verses are saying that the revelation of this secret would have manifested taking its usual means, but for some reasons, it will not happen like that.

“shout”:  means to “manifest remotely or directly”

“the roar of a lion”:  as it is used here talks about unique spiritual gifts which are used to spot the wills of the divine, eg  "dreams, visions, prophecies etc”

“And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven say, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said and do not write it down.”  this reveals that the secret which the battle of the seven defied will not be revealed to me through the means of dream, vision, prophecy and others with their likeness.

5 “Then the angel I had seen standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven. 6 And he swore by him who lives forever and ever, who created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it, and said, “There will be no more delay! 7 But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.”

These verses are saying that inspite these conditions, this secret will be revealed to me in the end because my great ability is worthy.

“the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet”:  this talks about the “end of the end” meaning that the secret will be revealed now!

8 “Then the voice that I had heard from heaven spoke to me once more: 'Go, take the scroll that lies open in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.' 9 So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll. He said to me, 'Take it and eat it. It will turn your stomach sour, but ‘in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.’ 10 I took the little scroll from the angel’s hand and ate it. It tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it, my stomach turned sour."

These verses are saying that this very secret about to be unveiled will taste sweet and bitter.
